Chuba Akpom has continued to be the leading scorer in the English Championship after he scored twice for Middlesbrough to beat Blackpool 3-0 today.
He has now netted 16 goals in the Championship this season.
Former Arsenal ace Akpom scored in either half to lift ‘Boro to third on the table.
They have 48 points from 30 matches, 10 points behind Sheffield United, who occupy the second automatic promotion spot.
‘Boro boss Michael Carrick praised the red-hot form of Akpom, who has pledged his international future to Nigeria after he has previously represented England.
