Terem Moffi will not receive a warm welcome should he make his OGC Nice debut tonight at Olympique Marseille after he rejected the home side to join his new South of France side.
Moffi, 23, has joined Nice from fellow French Ligue 1 side in a deal worth 30 Million Euros.
His transfer was long-drawn because several clubs were also interested in signing him including Marseille and it was even rumoured that Lorient wanted him to join Marseille.
The striker, who has scored 12 goals in Ligue 1 this season, was described by the Nice coach as “a smart boy” for choosing his club instead of Marseille.
Nice are ninth on the table with 31 points from 21 matches, 15 points behind second-placed Marseille.
