Lorient coach Christophe Pelissier has said record signing Terem Moffi will make his debut in today’s friendly at Ligue table toppers Rennes.
Moffi moved to the Ligue 1 club for eight million Euros in the summer transfer window from Belgian club KV Kortrijk.
Ligue 2 champions Lorient need to get their Nigeria striker firing immediately as they languish in 17th place in the 20-team league standings with four points from six matches.
“He last played on August 15 and since then, he has only done a few training with the team,” Pelissier said.
“He will get playing time so as to get up to speed before the season resumes.”
Lorient will next be away at fellow strugglers Reims on October 17 in a Ligue 1 clash.
