A top Premier League club have made a massive offer of over 30 Million Euros for Club Brugge youngster Antonio Nusa, whose father is Nigerian.
Nusa’s agent, Atta Aneke, told the Norwegian TV2 that the team in question were willing to pay no less than 350 million Norwegian kroner (just over 30 Million Euros) for the 18-year-old winger.
However, that offer was declined with Aneke maintaining that the player prefers to develop more at Club Brugge for at least another year, even though he added the Premier League side have not given up their pursuit.
There is therefore a real chance that an even higher bid will follow in the coming hours.
Club Brugge would like to keep their top talent, but Het Nieuwsblad knows, however, that the Belgian team will not rule out everything particularly because of the enormous amounts that are mentioned.
Nusa is not a permanent starter at Club Brugge currently and has only limited experience at the highest level, but he could become the most expensive outgoing transfer ever at team were the offer to be increased by several Millions of Euros.
The parties involved are in a race against time as the transfer window in England closes this evening. It will be a feat to achieve a breakthrough.
The chances that Nusa will stay are therefore quite high, although a last-minute departure should certainly not be ruled out.
