Promising youngster Michael Ekundayo has said he is good enough to play for the Golden Eaglets.
The defensive midfielder was the star of the NLO side Vinod FA in NYouth league as well as Lagos FA Cup where his led them to semi finals.
The 15-year-old Ekundayo is skilful and his marking ability is top notch.
During the 2026 Lagos FA Cup, he scored three goals and emerged Man of the Match in three games.
The wonderkid said his favorite player is Pedri of Barcelona.
“My favourite player is Pedri of Barcelona because of his calmness on the ball and his game IQ,” he said.
He also wish to play professionally as well as for the various national teams.
“My dream is to play at highest level of professional at club and national teams levels. The national U17 team, the Golden Eaglets, will be my immediate target,” the confident youngster offered.
