A player almost lost his life but for quick medical response during a WAFU B U17 AFCON match between Niger and Burkina Faso, officials said.
The player suffered from dehydration on account of the scorching heat and humidity in Ghana.
The harsh weather conditions have now forced organisers to push kick-off times to much later in the day.
Tonight’s semifinals between Ghana and Burkina Faso will be played from 7pm in Nigeria, while the second second semifinal between the Golden Eaglets and Cote d’Ivoire starts from 9pm.
