Four-time African Player of the Year Perpetua Nkwocha will lead the Best 5-a-side of Barcelona star Asisat Oshoala.
Last year, Oshoala matched Nkwocha to win a fourth CAF African Player of the Year and in an interview on social media today she admitted she has always looked up her.
“My favourite players were Mercy Akide and Perpetua Nkwocha,” she revealed.
“I love Perpetua’s style of play.
“I followed her closely when I was first called up to the Super Falcons camp and I learnt a lot of things from her.”
Oshoala said Nkwocha will be the link between the midfield and attack in her best 5-a-side.
“She will be the link between the midfield and attack,” she explained.
“She plays more like a No 10, she likes to get the ball and bring it forward.”
Akide, Onome Ebi and former Falcons coach and captain Florence Omagbemi will be the other players in Oshoala’s Dream Team.
