Paris FC, who will play in Ligue 1 in the new season after they finished as runners-up in the lower league, have showed their ambitions to be among the top clubs in France with their quest to sign Super Eagles winger Moses Simon.
Paris FC will remain in the big shadows of fellow capital city neigbours PSG for some time to come, but they hope sooner rather than later they will be rubbing shoulders with the UEFA Champions League winners.
The club are owned by the Arnault family, one of the largest fortunes in Europe, owner of 52.4% of the shares, as well as Red Bull’s investment of 10.6%.
They are therefore part of the Red Bull group, just like Salzburg and Leipzig.
L’Equipe has reported that Paris FC are very close to the deal with Moses Simon (29 years old), the winger of FC Nantes.
Simon left Gent for Levante in 2018, but was successfully loaned to Nantes a year later.
In six years, Moses Simon has proved himself as one of the club’s most important players with 201 games, 37 goals and 42 assists. But he only has one year left on his contract.
Valued at 12 Million Euros, the Nigerian star could bring a lot to FC Nantes, and Paris FC could offer him a salary considerably higher than what he earns now.
He could now bring in between 5 and 10 Million Euros for Nantes.
