Victor Osimhen has resumed training after a head injury at Atlanta that required a night in hospital, but Napoli are likely not to risk him for tonight’s Serie A clash against Benevento.
Osimhen trained on his own Saturday.
He suffered a head injury in the loss at Atalanta and missed Napoli Europa League tie against Granada, which the Italians won 2-1 but crashed out of the competition 3-2 on aggregate.
It is most likely the 22-year-old striker, who has scored twice in 10 appearances, could be involved in Wednesday’s league match at Sassuolo.
Napoli are seventh on the table with 40 points from 22 matches.
