Victor Osimhen will miss Thursday’s UEFA Europa League Round of 32 return leg clash against Granada and will need to repeat medical tests tomorrow after a head injury that caused him to lose consciousness.
The test results after the injury against Atalanta Sunday night have been encouraging, according to reports.
The CT Scan and other diagnostic tests did not reveal any complications.
Osimhen will fly back to Naples from Bergamo later today with the team doctor and repeat his tests tomorrow as a precautionary measure.
Napoli will aim to overturn a 2-0 deficit at Granada last week so as to reach the Europa League Round of 16.
The striker could then be available for selection for the Serie A home game against Benevento at the weekend, though.
