Napoli defeated bottom club US Cremonese 3-0 to move 16 points clear at the top of the standings after 22 rounds of matches.
It was a sweet revenge for them after Cremonese ousted them from Coppa Italia via penalties recently.
Osimhen, who received his Serie A Player of the Month Award for January before kick-off, doubled the league leaders advantage in the 65th minute with a simple tap-in on the goal line of the visitors.
It was his 17th goal in 18 appearances in the Italian top league.
The 24-year-old striker is now five clear of closest rival in the goals race fellow Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman.
