Victor Osimhen did not get his wish to avoid Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 after the Premier League champions were again drawn against Galatasaray in the competition.

Last September, Osimhen was the match winner for Galatasaray with a 16th minute penalty goal in the group phase of the Champions League.
However, he was frank to admit before today’s draw that he would want Galatasaray to “escape” Liverpool in the Round of 16 because the Premier League club will be gunning for revenge against his team.
He also said Galatasaray would have to improve on their showing against Juventus in Turin if they were to stand up to Liverpool both at home and at Anfield.
Galatasaray will welcome Liverpool to Istanbul on March 10 or 11, while the return leg will be in England a week later.
The overall winners of this tie will face the winners of the match-up between PSG and Chelsea in the quarterfinal.
