A breakdown of his milestone showed he scored 85 goals for his various European clubs, while he has so far netted 15 goals in 22 matches for the Super Eagles.
Osimhen fired his 18th goal in Serie A this season in the 33rd minute, when he fired home from a near impossible angle to double the lead for the visitors.
The Super Eagles star striker thus became the first Napoli player to score in seven straight games.
He has now scored 18 goals in 18 starts, provided three assists and caused a penalty as his club continue their ascendency towards a third Scudetto.
His 42-goal tally in 70 Serie A games over three seasons is now the second best by an African player, just four goals shy of the record set by George Weah.
Weah scored his 46 goals in 114 matches.
