Victor Osimhen, who threatened to return to his Turkish base after an on-the-pitch outburst against fellow Super Eagles star Ademola Lookman, was one of 26 players who took part in a recovery training in Fes after Monday’s 2025 AFCON Round of 16 clash against Mozambique.
Striker Jerome Akor was also part of the training after he was earlier given permission to leave training camp to be with his parents, who are also in Morocco.
Akor’s mother was taken to hospital yesterday and the Sevilla striker dedicated his goal against Mozambique to her.
The Super Eagles spokesman further added that defender Ryan Alebiosu has continued with his recovery from a cut on his leg and was not part of the full team training.
