Coach Randy Waldrum has named a 25-person squad for the Super Falcons title defence at this year’s WAFCON in Morocco.
The squad have Barcelona forward Asisat Oshoala as well as several experienced campaigners like skipper Onome Ebi, Tochukwu Oluehi, Francisca Ordega and Osinachi Ohale.
Ifeoma Onumonu, Gift Monday, Michelle Alozie and Regina Otu are among the players who will make their WAFCON debut in Morocco.
They are aiming for a record-extending 10th title.
The team will depart for Morocco Monday.
They will open their WAFCON campaign on July 4 against South Africa, before group games against debutants Botswana (July 7) and Burundi (July 10).
The four semifinalists will qualify for next year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
