The rumpus caused by the violence during a Turkish Super Lig clash last month between hosts Trabzonspor and Fenerbache has yet to die after the Istanbul giants dropped several top stars including Bright Osayi-Samuel for the Super Cup against Galatasaray.
Fenerbache lived up to their threat for the Super Cup after they demanded for a postponement and that the game be officiated by referees from overseas.
They maintained they are preparing for their UEFA Europa Conference League quarterfinal first leg against Olympicos Thursday.
The Turkish authorities refused these requests and as a result Fenerbache paraded their U19s for the Super Cup.
Galatasaray scored after just a minute and after which Fenerbache headed back to the dressing room.
Fenerbache, whose two players have been handed a match ban each, continue to protest against the events at Trabzonspor, which saw some of their players brawl with fans who invaded the pitch.
They have also threatened to pull out of the Super Lig.
