Henry Onyekuru has told SCORENigeria that by winning a league and cup double with Galatasaray he has proved that it was the right move to come to Turkey on loan.
Onyekuru scored the winner for Galatasaray to come from a goal down to beat closest rivals Istanbul Basaksehir 2-1 to be crowned champions.
This was coming just days after they had won the Turkey Cup.
“I made the right choice to come to Turkey because in my first season, I won both the cup and the league,” he told SCORENigeria
“This is really huge for my career.
“I give God all the glory.”
It was his 14th goal in the league and he scored 16 goals in all competitions this season.
He said he does not wish to discuss his future now.
“I don’t want to discuss any transfer now, I just want to celebrate winning the league,” he insisted.
