Henry Onyekuru grabbed a brace for his Saudi Arabian club to continue his push for a place on the Super Eagles final squad to the 2023 AFCON.
Onyekuru has said he hopes to feature at the AFCON, which kicks off next month in Cote d’Ivoire.
He made the cut to the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon, but has not featured for the Super Eagles since then.
The winger has argued that the standard of the league in Saudi Arabia is high because of the participation of some of world football top stars like Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.
The former Galatasaray star has now netted five goals in the Saudi league after his double Friday night against Damak.
However, his club Al Feyha fell 4-2 at home.
