Kelechi Nwakali scooped the Man of the Match Award when his Portuguese club GD Chaves recorded an important home win to ease their relegation trouble.
Nwakali was outstanding and was only replaced in stoppage time as Chaves held out to pip Vizela 2-1 Friday.
The 25-year-old midfielder has featured in all 12 league games of his Portuguese club this season.
Chaves now have 10 points from 12 matches to climb to 15th on the 18-team championship.
