Henry Onyekuru has struggled to play regularly for AS Monaco this season because coach Niko Kovac has not been impressed with the progress of the forward.
Monaco’s previous two coaches, Jardim and Moreno, did not also rate the former KAS Eupen of Belgium star and that was why he was shipped out on loan to Galatasaray.
This season, the 23-year-old Onyekuru has made four appearances in Ligue 1 for the Principality outfit – two as a starter and two as a sub.
He last featured for Monaco on September 19 at Rennes and has yet to score thus far.
Should the situation remain unchanged, he will most likely be shipped out on another loan in January.
