Henry Onyekuru has revealed that Fenerbache coach Jorge Jesus wanted to sign him for top Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon when he was at Anderlecht.
“He was in Lisbon when I was in Anderlecht and I remember he wanted to sign me for his team,” Onyekuru recalled.
“He is a very good coach.”
Onyekuru has also been linked with the current team of Jorge Jesus, Fenerbache, but it could be a tricky transfer as he has previously featured for their bitter city rivals Galatasaray.
