Onyeka Gamero has joined USL Super League club Dallas Trinity FC on loan.
The 20-year-old forward, who is still eligible to play for Nigeria, will play for Dallas for the remainder of 2026 calendar year on loan from NWSL team Bay FC.
“Onyeka is an exciting young player with lots of potential who is part of our long-term plans,” said Bay FC head coach Emma Coates.
“The priority right now is meaningful minutes, so this loan to Dallas Trinity proves valuable for all. I’m looking forward to seeing how this accelerates her development over the coming months, and we will be following her growth intently.”
Gamero has appeared in five matches with Bay FC in 2026.
The 2023 U.S. Soccer Young Female Player of the Year nominee has appeared for the USA U20 squad throughout 2026, returning to international competition in February as the squad began their preparations for this year’s U20 World Cup.
She appeared in each of the U20 squad’s matches earlier this month against England and Colombia as they convened for training.
The former Barcelona forward also represented USA at U17 level.
