Kenneth Omeruo has welcomed the signing of fellow Super Eagles defender Chidozie Awaziem by CD Leganes, saying the FC Porto loanee will add quality to La Liga club.
“Awaziem is a quality player and a good addition to Leganes,” Omeruo told SCORENigeria
“He truly has the quality to shine at the club and I wish him a successful stay in Madrid.
“I am very happy for him, he’s my brother and also my teammate in the national team.”
Omeruo and Awaziem battled side-by-side as the Super Eagles finished third at the recent AFCON in Egypt.
Both defenders were also at last year’s World Cup in Russia.
