Kenneth Omeruo has said he hopes he and CD Leganes can create history in the forthcoming La Liga season after he was presented by the club to thousands of fans.
Omeruo, 25, has signed a new five-year contract with the Madrid side after a successful loan spell from Chelsea.
“I want to make history with the club and I am pleased to know I will be
here for five years,” he told the huge crowd of fans at his presentation.
SCORENigeria gathered that Omeruo arrived Spain yesterday to be presented to the media and public last night.
Last season, the Super Eagles defender helped Leganes to stay clear of relegation with several rounds of matches to spare.
He will now be hoping they can qualify for the UEFA Europa League in the coming campaign.
