Former Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh has joined the chorus of praise for Alex Iwobi after he impressed for Everton today against Liverpool in the Merseyside Derby.
Iwobi has been one of the standout players for Everton this season playing in a new role in front of the defence.
“Alex Iwobi’s performance today especially, and in recent months, has me excited and makes me so proud as a compatriot,” Oliseh gushed on Twitter.
“Vision, physical, clairvoyance, pace, aggressive and above all, he has found total belief in his capabilities.
“This is great for ‘Naija’ and Everton. Bravo Lampard and Alex!!”
Iwobi himself was quick to acknowledge the lavish praise.
“Thank you Legend,” he replied the tweet.
Everton held local rivals Liverpool to a goalless draw today in continuation of the Premier League.
