Olanrewaju Kayode is now the highest ranked Nigeria star in the UEFA Europa League after he fired his third goal for Sivasspor to stop Qarabag 2-0 tonight.
Kayode netted his team’s second goal two minutes from full time.
It was his team’s first victory in the group stage of the competition.
They are now third in the standings with three points from as many matches behind Qarabag and leaders Villarreal.
He is now the most on-form Nigeria player in the competition with 2842 points to topple Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho, who is on 2640 points.
Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze is the third best Nigeria star in the Europa League after he scored 2620 points.
