Olanrewaju Kayode returned to Spain in style by opening scores for Turkish club Sivasspor in a UEFA Europa League group clash at Villarreal Thursday night.
However, his 33rd minute strike was not enough for Sivasspor as they fell 5-3.
Kayode had had a difficult time at Spanish Girona on loan from Manchester City two years ago.
Sivasspor will now hope to make up for this loss on Thursday when they welcome Maccabi Tel Aviv of Israel in continuation of the competition.
Samuel Chukwueze played the entire game for Villarreal.
