Super Eagles defender Ola Aina has committed his future to Nottingham Forest by signing a new three-year contract, keeping him at the club until 2028.
Despite interest from bigger clubs like Manchester City and Galatasaray, Aina chose to stay with Nottingham Forest, highlighting his commitment to the team
The 28-year-old Nigerian international joined Nottingham Forest on a free transfer in July 2023 from Torino and has been a key player for the team, accumulating 59 appearances.
His impressive performances helped secure a seventh-place finish and a FA Cup semi-final berth, as well as a UEFA Conference League spot for the club.
Aina’s contract extension follows similar long-term deals handed to striker Chris Wood, defender Murillo, and manager Nuno Espírito Santo, showcasing Nottingham Forest’s commitment to building a strong team for the future.
The club’s decision to secure Aina’s services long-term is a testament to his value as a player and his importance in the team’s plans.
