Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha has praised the Super Eagles for getting off to a flying start at the AFCON in Cameroon.
The Eagles pipped seven-time champions Egypt 1-0 to open their Group D campaign on a winning note.
“It was a great start for Nigeria against one of the favourites for the tournament,” Okocha said.
“They dominated possession most of this game.
“This result showed that the Eagles are in Cameroon for business, they have injected the fear factor.”
The former Super Eagles captain picked FC Nantes winger Moses Simon as his Man of the Match.
“Moses Simon was my Man of the Match even though Kelechi Iheanacho scored a good goal which proved the difference between the two teams,” he said.
“He was excellent, he tormented the fullbacks of Egypt.”
