CAF have named Super Eagles match winner Kelechi Iheanacho as the Man of the Match against Egypt in an AFCON Group D clash tonight.
The 24-year-old Leicester City striker conjured a tremendous goal after half an hour and that would prove to be the match winner in this top-profile Group D clash.
He also enjoyed his role as second striker behind Union Berlin top striker Taiwo Awoniyi.
Both players combined to help Nigeria win the 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup in Dubai.
“I am happy to represent my country, I am happy to score and hopefully this team can work together and achieve our aims, get to the final and win the tournament,” Iheanacho said.
