A top football expert has complained that David Okereke may continue to struggle to deliver the goals to justify the record transfer fee Club Brugge spent to sign him from Italy.
Champions Club Brugge will be favourites to retain the championship in Belgium, but coach Philippe Clement will hope his strikers led by Okereke begin to fire more regularly.
“What (Philippe) Clement should especially try is to get guys like Okereke and (Krepin) Diatta back to playing football,” football expert Peter Vandenbenpt told Sporza.
“Okereke is gradually becoming a problem.
“But if Club can get one or two strikers, they will still be the big favorites (to win the league) in my opinion.”
Okereke cost Club eight million Euros and this could rise to 10 million Euros with bonuses.
