Top team officials have disclosed that fullback Dominion Ohaka is very much part of the Flying Eagles training camp ahead of the U20 AFCON after he was mistakenly omitted from the list of call-ups.
“It was a mistake that Ohaka was not listed among the players called up for the U20 AFCON, but I can assure you he is very much part of the Flying Eagles,” an official told SCORENigeria
Ohaka has been capped by the U23s as well as a CHAN Eagles side that fell 2-0 to Costa Rica in a pre-World Cup friendly in November.
The Flying Eagles are expected to begin training Tuesday at the FIFA Goal Project after the bulk of the 35 players called up would have reported to the Abuja training camp the previous day.
The U20 AFCON will be staged in Egypt between February 19 and March 11.
The Flying Eagles are drawn in Group A with host nation Egypt, Senegal and Mozambique.
