NPFL hotshot Israel Abia joins Saudi Arabian third-tier club

Top scorer of the NPFL 2019/2020 season Israel Abia has joined Saudi Arabia club Al Rawdah SC.

Abia netted 12 goals – seven for Sunshine Stars and five with Enugu Rangers – to bag the Eunisell Boot as the NPFL Goal King of the previous season.

Al Rawdah SC feature in the third-tier league in Saudi Arabia.

However, they have shown their ambition to win promotion to a higher league by signing some players from Europe like Tunisia international and former Glasgow Rangers defender Bilel Mohsni.
