Norwegian club Stabaek are not interested in signing former Flying Eagles striker Suleiman Abdullahi, according to IFK Goteborg technical director.
Injury-troubled Abdullahi was on trials recently at Stabaek after another difficult season at Goteborg.
However, the Norwegian second division will not sign the 27-year-old striker.
“They weren’t interested,” Goteborg technical director Ola Larrson told Fotbollskanlen
Abdullahi has made only 21 appearances since he joined Goteborg in 2022 from Bundesliga club Union Berlin.
He has yet to score a goal or make an assist.
He has a contract until 2025.
