Super Eagles defender Jordan Torunarigha has been frozen out at KAA Gent because he is not fully focused to play for the Belgian club following serious transfer interests on him.
The Gent coach Arnar Vidarsson opened up that for the time being Torunarigha will not play on account of all the transfer issues surrounding him.
“Jordan (Torunarigha, ed.) is also very positive in his attitude, but he has a bit more difficulty focusing. That is why we agreed that he will not play for the time being,” he explained.
The Germany-born player has a year left on his contract.
Reports suggest there are interests from the Premier League as well as Italy.
However, the various bids are yet to meet the Five Million Euros valuation of the player by Gent.
