Nigeria will battle Guinea in March 2023 for a place at next year’s U23 AFCON in Morocco after they eliminated Tanzania 3-1 on aggregate today.
Guinea qualified for the final playoff after their opponents Uganda withdrew from the qualifiers.
The playoffs over two legs will be played between March 20-28, 2023.
The overall winners between Nigeria and Guinea will advance to the U23 AFCON, which will also determine Africa’s representatives at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
