Joel Chima Fujita, whose father is Nigerian, has led Japan to a famous 3-0 victory over Korea U23s.
Fujita was one of two players with Nigerian roots with the Japan team with the other being Leo Kokubo.
Japan paraded mainly an U21 team.
The win has lifted them to the semifinal of the Asian qualifiers for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
