Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro has said new call-up Gift Orban will undergo a late fitness test for today’s 2023 AFCON qualifier against Sao Tome and Principe in Uyo.
The sensational Gent striker is an injury doubt for the final Group A game after he worked out apart in the Eagles last training Saturday evening.
Peseiro said Gift Orban has suffered a knock in training.
The explosive striker’s invitation has been long overdue after his goals for Belgian club Gent.
He has netted 26 goals for Gent since January.
