Kingsley Madu has said he is delighted to get a year’s contract at OB Odense after a two-week trial and hopes to repay the confidence the Danish club have in him.
The former Zulte-Waregem defender said he started feeling as a member of the club since the trial started and ready to give his best to lift the club.
“In a short time I got a really good impression of the club and the city. The teammates and everyone around the team have been incredibly nice to me and I already feel like part of the squad,” he told the club’s website.
“I am a strong and fast left back who will always do my best and I will do everything to win.
“I would like to thank OB for giving me a contract and I am very much looking forward to being able to pay back on the pitch and help the club move in the right direction.”
He had offers from Israel and Bulgaria before he chose to join the Danish club.
Madu has been assigned jersey number 18
