New Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti, who replaced Gennaro Gattuso, has spoken for the first time about his striker Victor Osimhen.
The New Napoli coach said Osimhen is a complete player, who will play an important role in the new season, while he also expects him to improve on certain aspects of his game
“We will rely on Osimhen, his a strong point of the team because he is a complete player from all points of view,” Spalletti remarked.
“In addition to being able to score, he puts other things into his game, he gives everything.
“Above all, he fights for his teammates and it is very important for the rest of the group because if he starts we can all see him.”
He also said he expects the Super Eagles striker to work on his game.
“It is clear that he must improve in some areas and we try to stimulate him and work on these points and this is where we find an important answer, like today, where we gave him a certain type of work and he did not flinch, he made himself available and completed the task.
“It can’t be better than that “.
After several setbacks including injury and Coronavirus, Osimhen netted 10 goals in Serie A last season.
