A new two-year contract offered Odion Ighalo by Chinese Super League club Shanghai Shensua will pay him £400,000-a-week (more than 200 million Naira), according to various media reports monitored by SCORENigeria
It’s an improvement on the £300,000-a-week he is on now.
Ighalo’s current contract with Shanghai Shensua will end in December 2022 and the club have now proposed a two-year extension.
Ighalo is on loan at Manchester United and this could be extended from May till June 2020 on account of the Coronavirus Pandemic.
The 30-year-old striker could also be offered a permanent contract by United after netting four goals in his last five games.
However, reports have suggested he would have to take a huge pay cut to stay at Old Trafford.
