Chidera Ejuke is said to be “high on the shopping list” of Ajax after his stirring displays for fellow Dutch side SC Heerenveen.
Dutch reporter Sam Planting said Ejuke has been the winger who has most caught the eye in the league this season and he could soon be on his way to a bigger club.
The 22-year-old Ejuke showed his class against the Ajax defence recently and with likely departures for the Amsterdam at the end of the season, he could well be one of the players they will want to sign.
“With a possible summer departure from Neres or Quincy Promes, Ajax lack pure speed and players who can dominate one-on-one situations. In that case, Ejuke is undoubtedly high on their list,” the journalist said.
The former Golden Eaglets star joined Heerenveen at the beginning of the season from Norwegian club Valerenga for a princely two million Euros.
He has netted nine goals in 25 league matches thus far.
