Various reports have suggested that negotiations have begun for Nottingham Forest to sign Kelechi Iheanacho to team up with compatriot Taiwo Awoniyi.
Both Awoniyi and Iheanacho played together at the 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup in Abu Dhabi and they now play together with the Super Eagles.
Leicester City are undergoing a clear-out following relegation from the Premier League and Iheanacho could be the latest star to quit this summer.
‘The Foxes’ bought the striker for 25 Million Pounds in 2017 from Manchester City and must now be prepared to sell him for less as he only has a year left on his contract.
Forest, on the other hand, are yet to make a transfer this window after they signed 29 new players last season.
Manager Steve Cooper will most likely want more firepower after Forest only managed 38 goals in the Premier League last season.
