Wilfred Ndidi is set to miss Leicester City final day match at home against West Ham that could see the team relegated from the Premier League.
A hamstring injury forced out Ndidi from the team’s gutsy goalless draw at Newcastle last weekend and Leicester City boss Dean Smith said the midfielder is a doubt for tomorrow’s home game.
“Wilfried Ndidi is the only question mark at the moment to see if he’s fit to train. He hasn’t trained since the injury,” the Leicester City boss disclosed.
Various reports suggested there is a 50% chance the Super Eagles star will play.
‘The Foxes’ are two points from safety.
They need to beat West Ham and hope Everton drop points when they welcome Bournemouth also on Sunday afternoon.
Leeds United are also in the relegation dog fight.
