Flying winger Nathan Tella, who has said he wishes to play for the Super Eagles, has sealed a 20 Million Pounds transfer to Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen from Southampton.
Tella has signed a five-year contract after he passed a routine medical.
He will now team up with another potential Super Eagles star, Victor Boniface, who has already settled in Germany with two goals and an assist following his switch from Belgian club Union St.Gilloise.
Southampton first rejected a 15 Million pounds bid by Leverkusen for Tella, before the Bundesliga outfit stepped up their offer to 20 Million Pounds.
This transfer was a fitting reward for the 24-year-old Tella, who shone for Burnley last season on loan from Southampton.
The former Arsenal youth star netted 19 goals and provided five assists in 45 appearances for Burnley to win promotion to the Premier League as the top team in the English Championship last season.
