The transfer roller coaster involving Victor Osimhen has rumbled on as the summer approaches with Napoli demanding a king’s ransom should local rivals Juventus go ahead with their pursuit of the striker.
The widely reported release clause of Osimhen by Napoli is 75 Million Euros, but this amount does not apply to clubs in Italy like Juventus.
Italian clubs will have to pay a lot more for the striker and also have to negotiate directly with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis, who is notorious for his transfer dealings over the years.
And now according to DAZN journalist Orazio Accomando has revealed just how much Napoli will ask fellow Italian club Juventus to pay for Osimhen.
“There’s interest from the Premier League (Chelsea and Manchester United in the lead), but also Barcelona for Osimhen,” he posted on X
“The clause for going abroad is 75 Million Euros.
“Juventus could join in but it will depend on qualification for the Champions League and the outgoing market.
“The request for Italian clubs is 100 Million Euros.”
