SCORENigeria has scooped that Ahmed Musa is in line for a recall to the Super Eagles after he was overlooked for the crucial 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe in March.
A source informed SCORENigeria that the most capped Nigeria star will most likely be listed for the London invitational tournament, which leads to the high-profile friendly against Russia in Moscow on June 6.
Ahmed Musa did not get a minute of action in the 2023 AFCON in Cote d’Ivoire in February 2024.
He has scored 18 goals in 110 appearances for the Super Eagles.
The 32-year-old forward Friday enhanced his chances for an international recall when he scored his eighth goal in the NPFL for Kano Pillars to stop Rivers United 2-0 in continuation of the domestic championship.
