According to II Mattino, both Napoli and Manchester United are pushing for the transfer of Alejandro Garnacho with the hope it will make things a lot easier for both teams should Victor Osimhen agree to join the Premier League club in the summer.
It was reported Garnacho has already agreed to join Napoli in this window.
Napoli coach Antonio Conte has also spoken severally to the Argentine on his project.
The Italian club were reportedly open to give Manchester United a discount for Osimhen only for the striker to reject the transfer.
Napoli sports director Giovanni Manna recently revealed that United made the most serious bid for Osimhen in this winter transfer window.
Napoli will sell Osimhen for 75 Million Euros in the summer and it could now go a lot quicker should his new club be Manchester United.
