Montpellier striker Jerome Akor and Victor Boniface of Bayer Leverkusen are among the options being considered by Napoli in the event of Victor Osimhen’s exit.
Osimhen has yet to agree an extension to his contract with the Italian champions amid speculations several Premier League clubs will be happy to break the bank to sign him as early as January.
According to 90 Minutes, Napoli have lined up direct replacements for Osimhen and they include Akor and Victor Boniface.
Both strikers have taken their respective leagues by storm since their transfers in the summer.
Akor has netted seven goals for Montpellier in the French Ligue 1 since his arrival from Norwegian club Lillestrom, while Victor Boniface has besides his goals, scooped several awards in his debut season in the Bundesliga.
Another top Italian club, AC Milan, have also been linked to Akor.
