Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti has confirmed Victor Osimhen is on the squad for today’s Serie A home clash against Verona.
“Victor Osimhen is on the squad for the match,” Spalletti announced.
“Anyone who takes the pitch must do so in the knowledge that they are playing one of the most important matches of the season.”
The Super Eagles striker has been involved in full training with his club to underline his return to full fitness.
Injured Osimhen missed this week’s UEFA Champions League quarterfinal first leg clash as well as two Serie A matches after he suffered an abductor muscle injury on duty with the Super Eagles.
Lazio have reduced the gap Napoli have achieved at the top of the table to 13 points with eight rounds of matches to the end of the season.
Napoli vs Verona kick-off is 5pm.
